Labor Day is right around corner, which means it's officially time for one last summer hoorah before sweater season arrives. Whether you're planning dinner with friends, a casual day out with family, or simply want to eat something ridiculously delicious, Sugar Water Restaurant is the place to be.


And yes -- you can enjoy it here or take the flavor home. We're offering Labor Day to-go platters loaded with fan-favorites like wings, peel-and-eat shrimp, pulled pork, watermelon feta salad, Asian salad, and handcrafted desserts by Bob the Baker. If you're craving something else, just give our team a call and we'll help you create the perfect spread.


This year, we're celebrating with an all-day menu -- yes, ALL day from 11 AM to 7 PM -- filled with mouthwatering dishes that range from seafood favorites and juicy burgers to crave-worthy desserts and sharable platters. Come hungry and leave happy!

Kick things off with an appetizer (or, honestly, two -- no judgement here). These are designed for sharing or keeping all to yourself:

  • Crab Dip Skillet: Creamy, delicious, and fresh Maryland blue crab dip served with crisp and crunchy tortilla chips. Basically irresistible.

  • Buck-a-Shuck Oysters: Fresh oysters from Chincoteague, Tom’s Cove, on the half shell for just $1 each. No, that not a typo. Yes, this is your sign to order a dozen and share with the whole table.

  • Pulled pork: this classic dish comes by the pound and is truly a staple of Labor Day ($16/pound)

  • Scrumptious ribs: baby back style and offered as a full rack...perfect for an outdoor picnic and potluck (full rack = $48)

  • Watermelon and feta salad: get a bowl of this delicious combination and you'll be refreshed in no time ($20 per serving)

  • Crunchy Asian salad: start your meal off right with fresh vegetables in a deliciously light dressing ($14 per serving)
