Sugar Water Readers August Update 📚
Our Sugar Water Readers book club will be taking a short summer break, so we will not be meeting in August. We’ve loved gathering with everyone each month and are looking forward to welcoming our readers back in September for another great discussion, good company, and a cozy afternoon together.
We’ll resume on Tuesday, September 1 with The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon, a gripping historical thriller inspired by the life of an extraordinary 18th-century midwife. It’s the kind of book that’s hard to put down, and we think it will make for a wonderful conversation when we gather again.
Thank you for reading along with us this summer. We can’t wait to see everyone back in September, and we hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a fantastic start to our fall book club season.
