Sugar Water Readers, our co-ed book club, is launching its second season, following a wildly successful first year filled with terrific reading, new friendships and consistently lively, thoughtful discussion. What began as a simple gathering of readers quickly became a welcoming community- one where differing perspectives are encouraged and everyone leaves having learned something new.

The July 2026 Sugar Water Readers meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 7 at 11:45
The reading selection will be “THE BOYS IN THE BOAT” by
Daniel James Brown- the remarkable TRUE story of nine working-class young men from the University of Washington who, during the depths of the Great Depression, formed an unlikely rowing team and stunned the world at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
